Privacy policy

At all times, Userneeds complies with the Danish Act on Personal Data and its guidelines for the storing of personal data.

Regulations of the Data Inspectorate

The regulations of the Data Inspectorate are observed at all times. We are continually in contact with the Data Inspectorate in order to ensure that our current panel administration and panel data practice in the Danish market fully complies with legislation.
This ensures that personal data does not fall into the wrong hands. Similarly, Userneeds takes the necessary steps to ensure that our communication with customers meets the same high security standards.

What is a cookie?
The vast majority of websites use what is known as ‘cookies’. Cookies are small bits of information remembered by your browser that provide the website administrator in question with information about how you navigate your way around their website, and in some cases, how long you have been on a particular website. Cookies are merely a tool and do not contain viruses and cannot be used to obtain information about the computer user.

Userneeds also uses cookies
At Userneeds we do not collect information about our users, but a cookie stored on your computer provides us with information about which and how many of our sites users have visited. Using this cookie we are able to register the number of people who have visited our sites. The cookie enables us to see how our users navigate their way around Userneeds’ sites – and thus does not provide information about what other sites users may have visited.

What do we use this information for?
The purpose of gathering information about user traffic with the help of cookies is to provide the best possible service for our customers at Userneeds.dk. We neither pass on nor sell information to others. No personal information is contained in the cookie, which is stored locally on the user’s computer. Its sole purpose is to provide us with statistical data regarding which sites are visited at userneeds.dk.

Can I delete cookies from my computer?
Select “Tools”, >Internet settings< on your Internet Explorer. Under ‘Temporary Internet files’ it is possible to delete cookies. Be aware that by doing so you will also delete any other cookies that may be on your computer.
In Netscape, select ‘Edit’ > ’Settings’ and here you can configure your cookie settings.
In Firefox, select ‘Tools’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Privacy’. Then select ‘Show cookies’. Here it is possible to configure your cookie settings. It is possible to either delete a particular cookie relating to a particular website or all cookies at the same time.

Can I prevent cookies from being stored on my computer?
Yes – you can turn off this option. In Internet Explorer, select ‘Internet settings’ and select the ‘Security’ tab. Under ‘User-defined level’ it is possible to deselect cookies. For both Netscape and Firefox, you can deselect cookies in the same place as you configure your cookie settings.
