For panellists

At Userneeds we have one of the country’s largest consumer/citizen panels in the Nordic Region which numbers more than 180,000 participants. We conduct a number of different surveys for public and private customers. Our panelists deal with topics ranging from user-friendliness to political opinion polls. Our panel is solely a research panel and is never used for marketing purposes.

What is a panelist?
A panelist is the same as a panel participant. As a panelist you participate in a panel that deals with a wide range of topics. At Userneeds we have a panel called Forbrugerpanelet (the Consumer Panel).

About Forbrugerpanelet
Forbrugerpanelet is one of the country's largest consumer/citizen panels with more than 30,000 panellists. As a Forbrugerpanelet panellist you have the opportunity of participating in a number of different surveys. At Userneeds we provide everything from opinion polls to website user-friendliness tests. We collaborate with many leading medias - and our customers include both public and private companies. Forbrugerpanelet is solely a research panel and is never used for marketing purposes, sales or other commercial activities. For you as a panelist, this means that you will never receive special offers or other marketing drives as a result of participating in our surveys.

Userneeds recruits panelists in connection with the different surveys we conduct for our customers. You can not apply to become a panelist. As a Forbrugerpanel panelist you will only be asked to take part in a survey once a month, and you are naturally not bound to participate.

What types of surveys?
At Userneeds we deal with many different kinds of surveys. We conduct opinion polls, target group surveys and content surveys. These can range from the purchasing trends of men over 30 to the attitudes of women who live in the countryside. Our surveys include everything from online questionnaires to in-depth interviews.

 

At Userneeds we focus on user-friendliness. This means that you may be invited to participate in user-friendliness surveys and focus group surveys of various digital solutions.

Prizes
In connection with each survey we usually hold a draw to find a panelist winner. There may, however, be surveys where our customers have requested not to have prizes. The nature of the prize will always be clearly stated in connection with the individual survey. Usually the prize consists of a gift voucher worth 70 euros.

Ethics and security
Userneeds only conducts surveys that do not cause offence to or in any way intimidate our panelists. For this reason we never conduct surveys regarding the sexual practice of our panelists or other topics of a sensitive and private nature.

We are continually in contact with the Data Inspectorate in order to ensure that our current panel administration and panel data practice are of the highest standard. This ensures that personal data does not fall into the wrong hands. Similarly, Userneeds takes the necessary steps to ensure that our communication with customers meets the same high security standards.

Userneeds' panel administration always uses 128-bit encryption. This is the same standard used by Internet banking.

Anonymity
As a panelist, you are guaranteed complete anonymity. We never pass on information about our panelists to a third party - not even to our customers or business partners.
